Your right hand when you need advice on wind turbines
Nordic Wind Consultants ApS gives you technical and operational advice on the wind project you are working on, the turbines you operate, or the turbines you are considering buying or selling.
If you are a service company or a supplier to the wind industry, you can also draw on our advice and expertise.
We have worked in the wind industry for more than 40 years. For many of those years we were the technical department of the Danish Wind Turbine Owners’ Association, advising members on an objective and impartial basis and earning wide recognition for it – among turbine owners, manufacturers and insurers.
Still the same technicians
We do exactly the same work as before. We know our clients, and our clients know us. We mostly work in Denmark, but also in the other Nordic countries – hence the name.
From technical department to independent company
- 1990
The Danish Wind Turbine Owners’ Association starts a technical consulting service, which grows into its Technical Department.
- 2019
The association merges with the Danish Wind Industry Association to form Wind Denmark. To stay independent of manufacturers, the Technical Department moves to the new Nordic Wind Consultants ApS.
- 2022
Wind Denmark becomes part of Green Power Denmark. Nordic Wind Consultants continues, focused on helping owners operate and service their turbines.
- 2025
Following a reorganisation at Green Power Denmark, we continue our consulting work as an independent company from 1 January.
